Badnawar ,  a quiet town of moderate size in the district o of Dhar is located in malwa region of M.P.
It is about 63 Km to the west of  Ujjain , 45 Km to south Ratlam and 90 Km to the north-west Indore. It is a important Pilgrimage city and mainly the Jain dharm is deeply rooted here. It is surrounded  by holy places like Nageshwar, Mohan kheda, Mahakal (Ujjain) , beyond  its religious  Significance Badnawar has also evolved as a center of quality higher education in the town.

Yash College Of  Education Badnawar (M.P.) was established in the year 2005, by smt. Madhulika Jian President and Shri Amit  Jain the Seretary of an Organization  “ Yash Shikshan Sansthan and Gramin Vikas Samiti” . The organization is doing very Creative works in the field of  education, mainly for scheduled caste and tribes. Yash College of education  is situated in 2.50 hectare campus in a natural,  pollution free,  pleasant atmosphere.  The campus is 1 km from the Badnawar  bus  station, on Petlawad road near village Pidgara.

In the year 2005 college introduced courses like B.Ed.,M.Ed. from 2007-08 with an objective of producing competent teachers.

          The college is well equipped with all modern amenities within spacious campus. It is affiliated to Devi Ahiliya University of  indore and also recognized by UGC. The College also offers various undergraduate course from year 2011 on wards  such as B.Sc.(computer science)  , B.Com(Computer App.), ., G.N.M.,ITI, from year 2011 on wards.
